Are You Moving Forward, or Backward!?

We, humans are designed and built to keep moving forward. Walk, crawl or run forward. We were designed to stretch ourselves, dream big and go after to making our dreams come true. We are designed to create and fulfill our destinies.

It’s a pity that sometimes, people forget this basic biological impulse that’s present in all of us to advance and move forward in our lives. To let go of our emotional baggage and ride the ray of hope. People stop taking risks and actions that could lead them closer to their dreams. We let other people’s agendas to consume our daily life and overwhelm us to an extent, that we forget our basic purpose — which is to move forward.

If you aren’t moving forward… you are moving backward!

That’s it. There’s no “pause” button on the remote controller of life. It’s no wonder why so many people are no where near the life they had always dreamed of living because, when they stop moving forward they start moving backward.

Now, let me help you make a conscious audit of your life and progress and set it right. Take a deep look at your life currently and ask yourself these 3 questions:

  1. Am I getting closer to my dreams each day?
  2. Am I moving forward in life or starting to slip backward?
  3. Am I just waiting for the right time to get started?

Answer these questions really honestly because it is easy to deceive yourself into saying “yes… I’m sort of moving ahead.. I think” kind of response. Some people pretend to be moving forward and even go the extent of convincing themselves that their baby steps are enough to realize their dreams.

If you answered “yes” to all the questions.. you need to set even bigger goals and standards for yourself because you are already successful and can achieve even bigger successes.

If you answered “no” to any of the questions above, don’t worry. Now you know that when you are not moving forward you are slipping back. It’s time to wake up and set your motion forward. By consciously thinking of moving forward, you are accessing the built-in mechanism to get you started on the right track.

All the answers to why you are stuck and how you can get moving lie within you. All you need to do is ask yourself, be kind to yourself and listen to your innermost feeling and you will be able to figure out.
