Well, one thing that could keep people from writing and publishing their own books is the fear of being ridiculed by the people.
I have met many leaders, founders, CEOs, and people in leadership roles; I’ve asked them this question: have you considered writing a book?
Many have said yes, and most actually have said yes. Many of them have not done this yet because one of the biggest reasons is they think they are not writers. And what if they write a book, and what if it doesn’t come out?
Well, they fear being ridiculed, publishing a mediocre book, or not coming up with a great book when it is released. I understand this. It is common among first-time authors, so we work with our authors right from the beginning.
To avoid this big reason or an excuse, and on the other side, overcoming this fear of being ridiculed and becoming a published author is planning and conceptualizing and getting clarity on your messaging.
If your messaging is correct, your book will be right, your videos will be right, and your articles will also come out right.
Fear of being ridiculed?
Your book should be about the core of what you do, what you stand for, and what you believe in. When other people believe in the same thing you believe in, they become your fans and followers. Most people mistake this idea of writing a book for sharing their personal journey.
They have asked me, like Raam, what I have done to write a book about. You don’t have to do anything extraordinary, groundbreaking discovery, or invention to write a book.

If you share about who you are, what you think, what you believe, what you hope for, what you stand for, what you would fight for, that is going to be your Message.
That will be an extension of yourself in the form of a book and that is how you write a
book that other people respect and follow.
Everybody who believes in what you think will follow you :
- They will respect you.
- They will reach out to you.
You cannot reach out to the entirety of humanity with your book. That’s not the point. You select this group of people that you want to influence, that you want to reach out to, that you want to develop deeper connections with, and then you write your book for them.
