____________

3 Big Ideas, Tips or Strategies for this week

1. Success Tax – If you want to be successful be willing to pay the ‘Success Tax’ in the form of naysayers, tire-kickers and critics who come along and tell you all sorts of things to bust your dreams.

2. CTA – One of the biggest hindrances to business success is that we think customers can read our minds. It’s obvious to us that we want them to place an order, so we assume it’s obvious to them too. It isn’t. You must give a Call-To-Action (CTA) to get them to… well, take action.

3. Fear

Fear is an assumption of pain.

Fear is bad management of the mind.

_____________

2 Stories, Quotes, or Case-Studies for this week

1. F.I.R.S.T Principle.

How to really understand people? Follow this model:

Future Vision – What do they expect to happen (expectations).

Interests – Understand people by understanding what they are interested in and what excites them the most.

Resources – What resources they have and what resources they need?

Stories – What are the stories they have told themselves about the situation (world)? What do they know about the topic?

Time-focus – What is in their focus right now? Where are their efforts going?

2. The Lost Key

It’s dusk and a man is on his knees searching under a streetlight for the keys he has dropped. He is joined by his neighbour who helps him search and asks “Where exactly did you drop them?” “Oh, I dropped them in my back garden,” replies the man, “but I am looking for them here because the light is so much better.”

Raam’s notes -I first heard this story decades ago, listening to an audio CD of Dr Wayne Dyer who asked us to consider why, when the problem lies inside, we look to the outside for the solution… ?
