____________
3 Big Ideas, Tips or Strategies for this week
1. Teaching
You don’t even have to be the world’s topmost expert in order to teach others. Expertise, knowledge, skills and competence… are all relative. There will always be someone with more knowledge, expertise or abilities than you. However, you are still valuable to people who are not at your level. Teach them.
2. Cut Every Document in Half
At least half of every document is clear. The problem? The other half. The even slightly fuzzy parts make your reader second-guess the clear parts. The fuzzy part seems to contradict the clear part – or does it? The solution is simple and easy. Cut every document in half.
3. Mistakes
Admit them. The heart of a great relationship is trust. Admitting mistakes is among the fastest ways to build it.

2 Stories, Quotes, or Case-Studies for this week
1. Dog & the Elephant
An elephant and a dog became pregnant at the same time.
Three months down the line the dog gave birth to six puppies.
Six months later the dog was pregnant again, and two months later it gave birth to other half-a-dozen puppies.
The pattern continued.
On the eighteenth month, the dog approached the elephant questioning,
“Are you sure that you are pregnant? We became pregnant during the same time, I have given birth three times to a dozen puppies and they are now grown to become big dogs, yet you are still pregnant. What’s going on?”.
The elephant replied, “There is something I want you to understand. What I am carrying is not a puppy but an elephant. I only give birth to one in two years. When my baby hits the ground, the earth feels it. When my baby crosses the road, human beings stop and watch in admiration, what I carry draws attention. So what I’m carrying is mighty and great.”
Now, there are people who are expecting you to be a dog.
But be who you are… Be the elephant… Change the people around you but not yourself…
Getting something worth is far better than getting multiple worthless things.

2. The ‘Certainty’ Effect
Customers and more likely to buy when they feel like there’s no risk to them.
Whenever possible add a guarantee to make them feel confident in their purchase.
Reduce risks and increase certainty.
