1. Focus<\/strong>. When you lose focus, your mind tends to fix on what could be wrong with your life instead of what\u2019s right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Idleness. <\/strong>\u201cIdleness is not just a vacation, an indulgence or a vice; it is as indispensable to the brain as vitamin D is to the body, and deprived of it we suffer a mental affliction as disfiguring as rickets. It is, paradoxically, necessary to getting any work done.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don’t need the right answer to start. You can start by asking a question. Simply asking, \u201cHow can I be a better friend?\u201d or \u201cHow can I be a healthy person?\u201d will call forth answers naturally. In the beginning, just repeating the question is enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Real Wealth<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Real wealth is not about money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Real wealth is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– not having to go to meetings<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– not having to spend time with jerks<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– not being locked into status games<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– not feeling like you have to say \u201cyes\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– not worrying about others claiming your time and energy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Real wealth is about freedom. Money can help achieve these things, but there are plenty of people who make lots of money yet aren’t free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
